Promoting on Youtube

Just some quick tips on promoting on Youtube. It can be difficult to know how to make a proper video, get loads of views, as well as loads of clicks to your links. But here are a few helpful tidbits of advice to get you going...

1) Keep your videos short, preferably 2 minutes or less if possible.

2) When you put in your referral or website link, put it at the very top and then leave 4 or 5 spaces before entering your description. Then at the bottom, 4 or 5 spaces below the end of your description enter your link once more. The reason for this is so when people first see your description, all they will be able to see is your link. Then, when they click the "more" button they are presented with a nice description and two very well presented links both at the top and the bottom. This will look very nice to your viewers as well as professional.

3) At the end of your video you want people to click your link(s) to the right. But at the end of every video the screen will turn black and recommend new related videos. How do you get past this without the viewer simply clicking someone else's video? Simple, you need to make a picture for when your video ends encouraging your viewers to click your link. You want to keep this picture here as long as possible. So it will go something like this: for 45 seconds your "Reel Them In" video will play. Then, for the last minute and 15 seconds your video will be finished and all that will be left is your own custom picture that says something like: "For more information click the link to your right! DO IT NOW!", Throw an arrow or two in there as well pointing to your links in the description.

4) VIDEO REPLIES - There a hundreds if not thousands of popular videos on Youtube getting loads and loads of views every day. So why not post a reply and piggyback off those videos for their views. This is definitely a great way to gain more views to your videos. Try to be the first to reply to some of these videos. People will then see the only reply for that particular video (yours) and you will get some exclusive traffic this way.

5) One way to make your video go viral is by getting lots and lots of comments. You can make a bunch of Youtube accounts and comment back and forth on your own video. You could literally do this for hours, making the video more noticed and possibly even viral.

Well other than that, use your imagination. I've given you five good ways to get traffic on Youtube. I'm sure you can think of a few more if you really rack your brain........Take care!

Article Writing for Beginners

Article writing is free and one of the simplest ways to get traffic to your website or referral link when marketing online. Article writing for beginners can be relatively easy to learn. Here are a few article site you can write for as well as some tips to get your article listed in Google quickly and easily.

Article writing for beginners can be intimidating at first so here are some quick tips to get listed in Google. Check the popularity of a particular keyword phrase in Google that you are going to use in your article. You do this by entering your keyword phrase in to the search engine in quotations. An example being: "your keyword phrase here". Click search and look on the top of the listings close to the right. If you see this term has less than 5,000 search results you may just have a winner, but too few results and it's likely that very few people are searching in these keywords.

Once you have your keywords and are getting ready to write your article, be sure to put (if allowed) the heading tag in your keyword title. To do this your title will look like this: <>your title here< / h 1 >. Enter this code without the spaces. This will serve to make your title stand out and look more appealing to your readers.

Keep your articles between 300 and 500 words. Any more and the search engines may consider your article spam. Any Less and it may not get picked up by them.

Use your keywords you chose (the ones you used in your title) 3 to 7 times within your article or simply 3%-5% of the time. using any less or more could result in the same effect as stated just above.

Lastly, Everyone these days are writing there articles as if they were trying to sell you their product. This is not helpful in article writing for beginners. Don't get me wrong, making a sale/commission is indeed what you want but you should definitely go about it a bit more subtly. People don't like being sold, they want to be convinced but not feeling like they fell for the latest greatest sales pitch later. Sound unbiased, write your article as if you were writing a letter to a friend keeping relevance in mind. Do research on Google, forums etc. To find out how your customers think, what they react to and what they really want to hear. Sound like an authority, like you've been researching this niche for years and years. Also, Send your customers a sense of urgency. For instance: "but you better hurry as I've recently gotten word from the owners that they will be closing doors to new members in just a few days because of the overload of new people signing up, but you didn't here that from me".

If you're doing affiliate marketing you have many choices on what you promote and how you write your articles. But whatever you do give be sure you only promote products you would buy yourself. Promoting junk doesn't help anyone and believe me, selling quality products honestly and fairly will help you sleep at night. Not to mention greatly reduce refund requests and the headaches that go along with them. Article writing for beginners can be easier than you think. Work hard and you will be rewarded! Just remember, the only Failures in Internet marketing are the ones who consider it but never try at all!
